Hi! My name is Hannah, and I wanted to welcome you to my new blog about productivity and healthy habits.
The main reason why I decided to start a blog was because I struggled for a long time with being productive. Between school, athletics, social life, and working, there was a lot to balance. Now that I have what I would consider a healthy routine for me, I want to help other people (you!) achieve the same kind of success by sharing what worked for me, what didn’t, and how to constantly have a mindset of growth rather than fear towards your goals.
I am a very anxious, task-oriented person, and oftentimes that can get me into trouble, both with myself and with others. Navigating my desire for organization while also acknowledging my need for rest has been a life changing practice for me. So much of my life has changed for the better since I learned how to balance the hustle of everyday life with finding rest and peace amidst the chaos.
Some of my inspiration for creating this blog came from books such as those listed below:
- The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer
- Garden City by John Mark Comer
- Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport
- The Holy Bible – NIV Edition
- It’s Not What You Think by Jefferson Bethke
I also gain inspiration from Podcasts such as
- The Real Life Podcast
- The Behind the Scenes Podcast
- Rise Together Podcast
- Bridgetown Audio Podcast
- Fight Hustle End Hurry Podcast
- TED Talks Daily Podcast
I come from a Christian background, and a lot of what I talk about involves my faith in one way or another. It’s a huge part of who I am, and it impacts the way I live my life and see the world. I deeply believe in God’s desire for us to have a restful yet challenging and rewarding existence here on this earth, and I am always striving to learn more about how to achieve that. That being said, this blog is for anyone seeking to become more productive and set up healthy routines in all aspects of their life.
I am constantly taking in new information and always learning new ways to stay productive and on-task as well as integrating healthier habits into my life. As I grow, I invite you to grow and learn with me! Let the adventure begin!
